LIAM LUCAS

The new guardian of Australian style.

Liam Lucas was born in Sydney, Australia, on 9 May 2000. He started bodyboarding at the age of 12 and rode his first wave at the most famous beach in Sydney, Bondi. Liam has since become one of the best free surfers in Australia, thanks to the perfect style typical of the best Australian bodyboarders. The influence of the older generation of Australian bodyboarders, among them Mitch Rawlins, Jono Bruce and Alex Bunting, has been huge. His favourite wave, Aussie Pipe, is probably one of the most perfect waves for technical bodyboard riding. Liam loves riding the reef breaks south of the Sydney bridge, such as Shark Island or Cape Solander and many others. When he is not in Sydney, you will most likely find him riding the many reefs of the South Coast. Liam has ridden for Pride Bodyboards since 2023.
