Coco known around his friends as the „Greyhound“ was born and raised in Tasmania. Growing up next to one of the heaviest waves on the planet: Shipsterns Bluff has been his backyard playground since childhood, and bodyboarding runs deep in his family, with his brother Sam Thomas standing alongside him as one of the hardest-charging duos in the sport. Together, the Thomas brothers have built a reputation few can match, trading barrels and big-wave missions at Shipsterns long before the rest of the world caught on. While competition has never been Cohen's primary focus, he's widely regarded as one of the best free boogers of his generation, blending fearless charging with a technical, refined approach to riding, highlighted by one of the most flawless Inverts in modern bodyboarding. Away from the contest arena, it's this rare combination of raw power and technical precision, forged in Tasmania's most unforgiving conditions, that continues to set Cohen apart.
