NUMB THUMBS, EUROPE

Freezing mornings and evenings spent swiping on Tinder left our two young guns with numb thumbs. NUMB THUMBS is our first team trip focused on our young talents, Canary Islander Javi Dominguez and Chilean Moises Silva. 

The two have a lot in common, beyond riding for Pride Bodyboards, Vulcan Fins & Nymph Wetsuits. Javi and Moises were both born in 2002, are both in the world top 5 of their generation and will no doubt perform on the world tour this year.

Last but not least, both grew up riding some of the best reefs in the world.Javi is an El Confital local and rides the spot as if he were playing YouRiding, while Moises has been sharpening his bag of tricks on both lefts and rights at Flopos since he started secondary school. Our goal was to get them out of their comfort zone by taking them to ride freezing beach breaks around our HQ in Hossegor and in Spain for a week, while our favourite Italian, Simone Macera, took care of feeding them fresh pasta and guanciale, making sure their numb thumbs survived the morning frost.⁣

The boys did not disappoint, but we will let you make up your own mind after watching the clip.
