Pierre-Louis Costes was born on January 25th 1990. He started bodyboarding in Morocco before moving to France to refine his skills surfing Hossegor’s infamous beach breaks. He exploded on the world stage in the late 2000’s after a long trip to Australia with a runner-up finish at the 2009 Pipeline event. Pierre-Louis Costes has been riding for Pride Bodyboards since 2011 and has won all his World Title riding his own template: The Answer. He’s been dominating the world ever since.
Isabela Sousa was born on December 15th 1989 in Fortaleza Brazil. Isabela has impressed the World since the youngest age, showing incredible technique and radicalism in her approach to wave riding. With 4 world titles under her belt she decided to move to Portugal to spend her life. She won the European Title 6 months after moving in her adopted country and won back-to-back ETB Title in 2019. She inspires the Portuguese and Brazilian Youth through her notorious Vlog #Ondabela. She rides for Pride Bodyboards since 2011 and has won three World Titles riding Pride Bodyboards and her model The Queen High.
Tristan Lee Roberts was born on January 31 1997 in South Africa. He was one of the biggest hopes of his generation, worldwide. Along with guys like Tanner, they’ve set a new benchmark for massive airs. Tristan hits every section in sight, no matter how gnarly it may be. He started winning events in the Men’s Division on the World Tour in 2018 and won his first World Title in 2019 after a win at the Itacoatiara Pro and at the final stage of the tour: The Gran Canaria Fronton King, defeating local hot shot and 2x World Champion Amaury Lavernhe in a tough final. Tristan rides for Pride Bodyboards since 2011.
Sari Ohhara was born in Ichinomiya, Japan on April 21st 1995. She started bodyboarding at 11 years old and joined the World Tour in 2011. She received the 2018 Best Female Performance APB award and joined the Pride Bodyboards team later this year. Since she started riding for Pride Bodyboards, she made her best results on the World Tour with a win at the 2019 Sintra Pro and two runner-up finishes at the Bellavista Iquique Pro and Antofagasta Bodyboard Festival. She eventually won the 2019 World Title.
Lewy Finnegan, born on August 9th 1994, grew up in Western Australia where he started bodyboarding and developed his skills on some of the best waves in the world for bodyboarding: Mandurah Wedge, The Box, North Point to name a few. No wonder why he became one of the very best free-bodyboarder in the world. His edit Glewten Free presented by Pride Bodyboards is the most viewed bodyboarding video on Vimeo® with more than 252K views. Kelly Slater even took time to share the video in order to acknowledge Lewy’s talent and ability to charge massive slabs.
Carolina Botteri was born in Lima, Peru, on August 16th 1996. She’s been riding for Pride Bodyboards since 2014 and travels the world looking for perfect waves ever since. Her favourite wave is Watukarung in Indonesia. In addition to surfing on the daily, she’s also a bodyboarding coach at the best bodyboarding school in Peru.
Matias Diaz was born in Antofagasta, Chile, on October 5th 1994. He started bodyboarding at age 7 with his brothers Nicolas, Max y Sergio, who showed him the way to the beach in Tocopilla. Waves were not always good, he stayed motivated until he became one of the best bodyboarder in South America, and developed a flawless style. He now lives in Iquique where he works as a lifeguard, where most of the Chilean best waves are located, and travels quite often to Arica to surf the almighty Flopos.
