Chile’s upcoming young gun

Moises Silva was born on August 8th, 2002. He is one of the most promising young guns coming out of Arica, Chile. He is no stranger to big and pumping slabs, as his home spot is the infamous ‘El Flopos,’ which resulted in him turning into one of the biggest Chilean prodigies. Moises Silva won his first World Tour event at the 2023 Itacoatiara Pro, creating a huge surprise in the bodyboarding world. He joined the Pride Bodyboards team in 2015, at the age of 15, after reaching the quarterfinals at the Arica Cultura Bodyboard Men’s Division. We then invited him along with the pro team on some team trips to Ireland and Panama before entering the Top 16 of the IBC World Tour for his first year competing on the tour in 2022.
